We are fully trained installers of Carlisle ClassicBond® EPDM Synthetic Rubber Membrane, a modern alternative to traditional felt roofing.
Carlisle ClassicBond® EPDM is the original EPDM roofing system. It is BBA approved and has been in use for over 50 years, with over 1 billion square metres installed worldwide.
Carlisle ClassicBond® EPDM is a highly stable material, making it an ideal roof covering for all sizes of flat roof.
Originally developed for the commercial market, it is now also widely used in domestic flat roofs.
Key Features of the Carlisle ClassicBond® Roof System
- The ClassicBond® roof system is cost effective and can be applied much quicker than traditional felt roofing systems.
- EPDM membrane has excellent elasticity, weatherability and material longevity and is designed to withstand extremes of temperature without cracking, peeling or splitting

- Cold application without the need for gas torches and hot asphaltes makes for cleaner and safer installation
- ClassicBond® EPDM doesn't require chippings and doesn't support moss growth
- ClassicBond® EPDM requires minimal maintenance
- Available in two thicknesses: 1.2mm (Standard) and 1.52mm (Commercial)
- Roll widths available: 3.05m, 4.57m, 6.1m and 9.15m, with a maximum length on a roll being 30.5m. This means that quite large roofs can be finished without joints. (Note that an overlap of 200mm is required on all edges)
